Coach Pitch Division (Ages 6–7)
The Coach Pitch Division serves as the transitional step from Tee Ball to baseball for players league age 6–7. The focus is on introducing basic baseball concepts, building skills, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate and succeed.
Games are non-scored and utilize modified rules to avoid strikeouts. Players receive 5 pitches from a coach; if the ball is not hit, a batting tee is used. Early in the season, the tee is used frequently and gradually less often as players progress. Games last approximately 1.5 hours, and coaches are on the field with players, also acting as umpires.
