2025 All-Stars: FAQs & Interest Form
While Monticello Little League’s regular season wraps up at the end of May, that doesn’t mean the baseball fun has to stop!
Our All-Star season offers a great opportunity for players to get several more weeks of instruction and then compete against other Little League players from across Virginia.
Last year, our 9–11s team advanced all the way to the state tournament, and we’re hoping to keep that momentum going!
To plan ahead, we need to know which players are available and interested in participating. Please complete the interest form below so we can begin forming potential teams.

All-Star FAQ
Who is eligible?
All players whose league age is between 6 and 12 years old. MLL hopes to field teams in the 8–10, 9–11, and 10–12 divisions. If District 14 includes a Coach Pitch (6–8s) and/or 8–9s tournament, we will participate in those as well. League age is based on the player's age as of August 31, 2025.
How are teams selected?
If there are more eligible players than roster spots, MLL coaches will vote on team selections in consultation with the League President and Player Agent.
What’s the time commitment?
Practices can begin as early as May 15 (while working around the MLL schedule). Teams typically practice several evenings a week. The District 14 tournament begins June 13, with games likely on the weekends of June 13, June 20, and June 27 depending on the age group.
Winners of District 14 advance to state tournaments:
• 8–10s: July 3 in Centreville, VA
• 9–11s: July 10 in Coeburn, VA
• 10–12s: July 17 in Bowling Green, VA
If the 10–12s team wins states, they progress to the Southeast Regionals (July 31 in Warner Robins, GA), and potentially the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA (starting August 13).
